Hi, I am Alice Perez, Certified Birth Doula and creator of The Purposeful Birth. Serving all of Grayson & Collin County, TX with deliveries as far as central Dallas. My goal is to educate women and help take away the fear surrounding birth fed to us by the media. With The Purposeful Birth you will be informed, empowered, and in control of your birth experience. When I am not helping women learn and grow through pregnancy and delivery, I spend my time chasing two sweet toddlers. Being a mother myself, I have experienced both hospital birth and home birth which led me to my passion in being a Doula. I became internationally certified through BEST Doulas and love what I do and the beautiful families I help. I may be biased but doulas are the best! Although we know birth does not go 100% to plan every time, having a doula by your side can greatly increase not only your experience but the fruition of turning birth dreams into reality. There is beauty in knowing that your previous experience or somebody else's experience does not have to define how yours will go. Whether it be your first or your tenth, there is always benefit in having a doula!
